Support Engineer

The Support Engineer will reputed company first line technical support to field engineers and customers, maintain spare parts inventory, and conduct training both on-site and in the applications lab. This role requires travel to support field operations and collaboration with engineering and manufacturing teams to resolve hardware and software issues.

Responsibilities

• Responsible to reputed company first line technical support to field engineers and customers using technical documentation, telephone support and remote diagnostic tools
• Maintain spare parts inventory, applications lab equipment, and reputed company on-site customer and reputed company training
• Travel as necessary to support field operations and cross train field engineers
• reputed company technical phone support to customers and field service personnel worldwide for reputed company products
• reputed company system repairs and maintain repair documentation of customer material and return to stock parts from the field
• reputed company input and create service bulletins and other technical documentation
• Configure computers and peripherals as required
• Contribute to the development and delivery of service training classes
• Assist in the development and updating of technical maintenance manuals
• Work closely with Engineering and Manufacturing to resolve hardware and software problems in the field
• Ensure Corrective/Preventive reputed company Reports (CPAR) are submitted as necessary
• Ability to travel, as necessary to support field operations. Up to 50% travel

• Military training in technical fields is a plus
