Salesforce Data Migration Technical Lead

Job brief We are seeking a Salesforce Data Migration Technical Lead to oversee and drive complex data migration efforts into Salesforce platforms, including Salesforce Industries (Vlocity) implementations. The ideal candidate will lead end-to-end migration activities, ensuring data accuracy, consistency, security, and alignment with business requirements across large enterprise programs. Responsibilities • Lead the planning, design, and execution of large-scale data migrations into Salesforce • Collaborate with stakeholders, business analysts, and technical teams to define migration strategy, data mapping, and transformation rules • Analyze source systems to identify data structures, dependencies, quality issues, and risks • Guide the design and development of ETL workflows using tools such as MuleSoft, Informatica, Talend, Salesforce Data Loader, or custom scripts • Define data cleansing, deduplication, validation, and reconciliation processes • Establish migration timelines, cutover plans, and rollback strategies • Coordinate and lead migration testing (mock runs, system validation, UAT support) and ensure data integrity post-migration • Manage cross-functional teams and align activities across data migration, integration, and Salesforce implementation workstreams • Document migration approach, mappings, technical designs, and test results for audit and future reference Requirements • Bachelors degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field • 5+ years of experience leading data migration initiatives, with at least 2 years focused on Salesforce platforms • Strong understanding of Salesforce data models, including Person Accounts and custom objects • Experience with Salesforce Industry Clouds (e.g. Communications Cloud, Financial Services Cloud) is highly desirable • Hands-on experience with ETL tools (e.g. MuleSoft, Informatica, Talend) and Salesforce data loading tools • Proficiency in SQL, data profiling, and large dataset handling • Solid understanding of data governance, privacy, and security requirements • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills • Proven track record of managing migration teams and delivering under tight timelines • Salesforce certifications (e.g. Data Architecture and Management Designer) are a plus In addition an ideal candidate would have: • Experience in telco/media projects • Good understanding of telco terminology and processess • Based in USA/Europe (due to time-zone) and/or 100% committed to working in customer time-zone(including a possible night-shift arrangement Apply tot his job Apply To this Job
