Need a Ghostwriter/ For my Book - Contract to Hire
I am looking for an experienced ghostwriter or developmental editor to help me turn my existing content into a publish-ready self-help book for Amazon KDP and Kindle.
I already have all the material written. This includes full drafts, long explanations, examples, and structured modules. I am not looking for someone to research or create content from scratch. What I need is someone who can rewrite, expand, organize, and smooth what already exists into a book that feels engaging, natural, and easy to read.
The book focuses on topics like attachment styles, shame, emotional regulation, nervous system work, conflict resolution, and meeting needs in relationships. The subject matter is serious, but the writing should not feel heavy, academic, or clinical. I want it to feel conversational, grounded, and emotionally engaging—something people actually want to keep reading.
Your role will be to improve flow, pacing, and structure. This includes expanding paragraphs where needed, avoiding one-line paragraphs, fixing awkward transitions, and making sure ideas appear in the right order. The book should build naturally, without sounding like it’s concluding or wrapping up too early in the middle of chapters.
This is not just a grammar or proofreading job. I need someone who understands how self-help books are read, especially on Kindle, and knows how to keep momentum without turning the content into lectures or motivational fluff. The goal is clarity, warmth, and depth—while preserving my original voice and meaning.
Ideally, you have experience writing or editing self-help books and understand Amazon KDP standards. Experience with psychology, attachment theory, or emotional health is a strong plus, but the most important skill is knowing how to turn dense material into something readable and compelling.
This is a ghostwriting project. I will retain full ownership and publishing rights.
