[Remote] App Developer Intern (Cross-Platform | AI-Native)

Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. PlateTrack AI is building a workflow-based, agentic AI platform serving both B2B and B2C users. As an App Developer Intern, you will build and ship AI-powered mobile applications from a single codebase, working closely with backend and AI systems to deliver MVP features to production. Responsibilities • Build cross-platform mobile apps using Flutter or React Native • Integrate AI-driven workflows powered by single-agent and multi-agent systems • Consume and handle LLM-backed APIs, including streaming responses • Implement prompt-driven UI patterns (chat, workflows, agent execution states) • Write light backend logic when needed (FastAPI, prompt handlers) • Optimize API usage, latency, and token consumption • Ship MVP-level features used by real users • Use AI-assisted tools (Cursor, Emergent, Copilot) to move fast and responsibly Skills • Strong proficiency in Flutter (Dart) or React Native (TypeScript) • Experience building Android & iOS apps from one codebase • REST API integration experience • Understanding of prompt engineering (system, user, tool prompts) Company Overview • PlateTrack AI is an AI-powered nutrition companion that helps individuals and families make healthier food choices through personalized meal planning, grocery management, and recipe generation.
