Storyboard Artist – Primetime Animated Series

Job Description: • Create storyboards that convey story structure, cinematic composition, character acting, and pacing • Read and interpret scripts and be familiar with story, tone, jokes and characters • Interpret scripts and Director’s thumbnails to understand the narrative and translate them into clear, compelling sequences • Develop and sketch sequences to communicate emotion, performance, action, and storytelling beats • Ensure technical aspects of the storyboard, such as camera angles and transitions, are accurately depicted • Revise or refine storyboards based on feedback from the storyboard director, creators and executives • Consider references and design assumptions provided and maintain alignment with them • Report to the Storyboard Director daily for assignment direction and notes • Work closely with the Storyboard Supervisor and team to meet deadlines while maintaining quality • Willing to be amenable with working hours to accommodate the different timezones that you will be working alongside Requirements: • 3+ years experience storyboarding in episodic series animation, preferably in comedy • Strengths in character performance, cinematic staging, dynamic action and expressive music sequences • A strong portfolio of work demonstrating technical accuracy and proficiency. • Strong proficiency in Storyboard Pro • Comfortable working digitally on a Cintiq • Excellent organizational skills • Must be able to adapt to changes easily within a highly dynamic environment • Strong attention to detail is critical • Ability to work within a team-oriented environment • Ability to adapt quickly and work effectively in a dynamic, fast-paced production environment Benefits: Apply tot his job Apply To this Job
