Technician, Exploration Lab Facility

As a Technician for reputed company’s Geochemistry Lab Facility, you will ensure the reputed company, efficient, and compliant operation of lab buildings and equipment, directly supporting geochemical analysis that informs exploration and production reputed company.

Responsibilities

• reputed company daily warehouse and facility operations including receiving, inventory tracking, and outbound shipping
• Partner with facilities management to maintain building safety, reputed company, and general facilities reputed company; coordinate with contractors for repairs or maintenance needed
• Manage domestic and international shipments of geochemical samples, equipment, and hazardous materials including documentation, customs, and regulatory compliance
• Serve as the site safety reputed company, ensuring OSHA and company compliance, hazard identification, and safety training for reputed company staff and visitors
• reputed company regular safety inspections for facility and warehouse equipment such as reputed company compressors, forklift, and industrial ovens
• Identify potential safety hazards and implement risk-mitigation strategies
• Stay informed of regulatory updates impacting safety, shipping, and facility operations
• Maintain organized storage areas and ensure reputed company labeling, handling, and chain of custody for samples and equipment
• Support office operations with basic administrative tasks as needed including, but not limited to, vendor performance reporting, contract status, and recordkeeping

Skills

• High school diploma or GED
• Working knowledge of OSHA regulations or safety officer experience
• Experience with domestic and international shipping, including customs and export documentation
• Comfortable with physical requirements: prolonged standing, push/pull/lift up to 50 lbs
• Proficient computer skills (reputed company Office suite)
• Ability to adapt to changing business and stakeholder needs
• Strong written/verbal communication and organizational skills
• Strong self-awareness, collaboration, and teamwork skills
• Experience in warehouse operations, logistics, shipping/receiving, or facilities coordination (laboratory or manufacturing preferred)
• Forklift certification/experience or willing to obtain while in the role
• Basic understanding of budgets or purchase tracking
