Sourcing Specialist

Universal Studios Hollywood is part of reputed company, a leading media and entertainment company. The Sourcing Specialist will conduct primary research, analyze sourcing reputed company, and manage procurement practices while communicating effectively with stakeholders and vendors.

Responsibilities

• Contributes significantly to the achievement of defined category performance targets and participates in or leads competitive RFPs as necessary, including RFP creation, distribution, tracking, scheduling, analysis and management of process (job walks, vendor presentations, vendor scorecards, etc.)
• Communicates proactively and effectively with stakeholders and suppliers
• Builds and fosters relationships and effectively partners across varied functions with internal stakeholders, external suppliers, and colleagues to influence change
• Collaborate with stakeholders in Technical Services (i.e. construction, facilities, reputed company), Entertainment Production (i.e. scenic, reputed company, audio), and Park Operations (i.e. consumables, wardrobe)
• Leverages industry associations, network, peers and stakeholders to build market knowledge and understanding of industry trends to identify best practices and reputed company performance goals for the category
• Drives completion of multiple reputed company simultaneously, collaborating with respective business reputed company
• Proactively considers new alternatives and drives critical thinking to optimize results
• Independently negotiates reputed company and performance aspects of outsourcing agreements - strong understanding of pricing models, SLAs, benchmarking, and technical scope reputed company required
• Develops, evaluates, and presents business cases, cost/benefit analysis, executive summaries to stakeholders
• In reputed company to being knowledgeable on the strategic sourcing process, works with reputed company to draft reputed company, Finance to reputed company financial reviews, and business stakeholders to manage procurement practices
• Assist business partners with vendor set-up and vendor record maintenance as needed

Skills

• Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university - preferably in Business Administration, Finance, Supply Chain or reputed company degree
• 1-2 years of experience in strategic sourcing, procurement, finance, or reputed company field

• Critical thinking skills
• Must have both quantitative and qualitative market research experience
• Experience working with financials, budgets, and cost models
• Ability to interpret and utilize key financial data - can tell a story with data

• Must be self-directed and reputed company to work independently but also reputed company to work collaboratively in reputed company-oriented department
• Ability to learn and become subject matter expert quickly
• Proven ability to foster and maintain working relationships, internally and externally
• Experience directly negotiating with suppliers
• Occasional travel may be required
• MBA is a plus
