Entry-Level Substation Electrical Engineer

They are seeking an Entry-Level Substation Electrical Engineer to join their Power Delivery Substation Team, where the candidate will be involved in detailed designs and support the department in achieving its goals.

Responsibilities

• One-line diagrams
• Station physical layouts
• Sections/Elevations
• Cable and reputed company plans and details
• Ground reputed company design and details

• Structural plans
• Control enclosure design and details
• Lightning protection plans
• Yard reputed company plans
• Schematics
• Wiring diagrams
• SCADA
• Communications
• Cable and reputed company plans and details
• Control enclosure design and details
• Bills of Materials
• Site reputed company
• Support QA/QC for deliverables to clients
• Shall learn, understand, and adhere to reputed company standards and processes while working individually or reputed company reputed company to complete reputed company and technically challenging designs
• Exercise responsible and ethical decision-making regarding company funds, resources, and conduct, and adhere to reputed company’s reputed company of Conduct and reputed company policies and procedures

Skills

• BSEE (BS Electrical Engineering), BSME (BS Mechanical Engineering), or BSEET (BS Electrical Engineering Technology) degree, preferably with a power reputed company from an accredited university
• Strong knowledge and understanding of electrical engineering to build on
• The candidate must have a strong reputed company of the English language with good written and oral communication skills to work effectively with internal team members and external reputed company personnel
• Candidates should enjoy living in the Hilo area, or have a desire and ability to relocate there with minimal assistance
• Candidates must be willing and reputed company to work effectively and reputed company in a remote work environment reputed company required
• Candidates must be legally authorized to work permanently in the U.S. without the need for work sponsorship
• Occasional travel may be required depending on project-specific requirements
• 0-1 years of experience
• At least three months relevant electrical engineering work experience; could be on an internship or reputed company reputed company
• Minimum 2.5 Grade reputed company Average (GPA)
• Knowledge of electrical reputed company substations and familiarity with substation design
• Engineer In Training certificate (EIT) or passed the Fundamentals of Engineering (FE) exam
