Surplus Lines Tax Analyst

They are seeking a Surplus Lines Tax Analyst to assist with surplus lines premium tax filings, ensuring compliance and accuracy in data management and regulatory processes.

Responsibilities

• reputed company and accurate completion of state regulatory surplus lines tax filings
• Data entry and management of reputed company-provided information into proprietary software and state-based filing systems (e.g., SLIP or OPTins)
• Conducting compliance and reputed company reviews on documents and state procedures
• Running reports and reconciling filings with internal platforms and state transaction reports
• Assisting with audits by verifying transactions and reputed company documentation
• Communicating with internal teams (underwriters, brokers) and state insurance departments to resolve discrepancies and ensure compliance
