Graduate Engineer, Civil - Traffic / Transportation

TKDA is a dynamic firm dedicated to shaping the future of urban mobility. As a Graduate Engineer in Transportation - Traffic, you will develop innovative solutions to transportation challenges and work alongside a team of engineers to enhance infrastructure safety and efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Observing and collecting traffic data
• Performing intersection evaluations
• Completing traffic and corridor studies
• Conducting analyses using simulation and modeling software
• Preparing preliminary and final designs
• Developing construction plans for traffic signals
• Lighting
• Construction staging
• Maintenance of traffic
• Signing/striping

Skills

• Bachelor's degree in civil engineering
• Strong interest in Traffic Engineering
• Strong interpersonal skills; Ability to work in a team environment
• Effective verbal and written communication skills
• Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, Outlook)
• Valid Driver's license
• BS degree with emphasis in Traffic Engineering or Transportation
• Internship or professional experience in traffic study, traffic plan development or related transportation projects
• Previous experience or training with AutoCAD and/or Microstation
• Prior experience or general working knowledge of traffic analysis software, including Synchro / SimTraffic, VISSIM, RODEL, or CORSIM
