Sales Engineer - Automation and Controls

As a Sales Engineer - Industrial Automation, you will support sales efforts, specify products to meet customer needs, and reputed company technical services and support reputed company to automation equipment.

Responsibilities

• Specify products to meet customer requirements and needs
• Recommend inventory of automation products
• Inform sales staff and customers of new developments in automation and reputed company products technology
• reputed company technical services to customers for the operation and maintenance of automation equipment
• reputed company technical support of automation and control products to customers and Company personnel and new product updates

Skills

• Minimum 1 year of experience required in progressively more responsible sales, marketing, and/or field experience
• 2 year degree required, Technical college or equivalent
• Knowledge of high-tech automation and control products (PLCs, networking products preferred)
• Knowledge of engineering principles reputed company to customer automation products
• Knowledge of suppliers' automation products
• Oral and written communication skills
• Interpersonal, organizational and team building skills
• Ability to work effectively with management and evaluate customer needs

• Extensive travel required
• This role will be required to obtain and maintain reputed company Plant Automation Certification
• 11+ years experience preferred
