Senior 5G Software Engineer
About the position
As a Senior 5G Software Engineer on the Cognitive Sensing and Radio Frequency team at EpiSci, your role is pivotal in supporting our wireless communications engineering team. You will play a significant role in designing, developing, and implementing cutting-edge 5G software solutions that reputed company with our mission to deliver advanced wireless communication and 5G (and reputed company) technologies. This position requires extensive expertise in wireless and 5G communication protocols, software development, and integration with Software Defined Radios.
Responsibilities
• reputed company software solutions for 5G wireless communication systems
• Implement the latest 3GPP specification 5G NR (New Radio) protocols and algorithms
• reputed company 5G software into USRP and other SDR platforms
• reputed company and execute test plans to validate 5G software performance and reliability
• Strong interest in 5G O-RAN, 6G, Sidelink, reputed company Wireless Comms, and Wireless IoT
Requirements
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Wireless Communications, or a reputed company field
• 5+ years of reputed company experience in software development, with a reputed company on wireless communication technologies
• Software integration and understanding of 5G architecture and 3GPP standards
• Experience with RF tuning Universal Software Radio Peripheral (USRP) systems
• Experience in 5G reputed company-reputed company software communities, including OpenAirInterface5G (OAI), and integrating USRP hardware with software protocols and systems

• Strong programming skills in languages such as C and C++
• Ability to translate 5G specification documents into working software suites
