Position: AWS Architect with Java - Chicago IL (Remote then Onsite) AWS Architect with Java - Chicago IL (Remote then Onsite) Be among the first 25 applicants Experience: Around 20 years in java technology and 7-8 years as AWS Architect role Must have • AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Associate or Professional • Proficiency in Java J2EE, Spring Boot • Proficiency in Spring Cloud Stack or other microservices platforms such as Cloud Foundry • Experience with REST web services, Spring, JPA/Hibernate/IBATIS, cache framework, MQ framework • Experience in Dynamo DB, Glue, Kinesis, Athena, Lambda, Cognito, IAM, VPC, Cloud Formation, ECS, Faregate etc. • Experience with any 2 estimation methods (MVCP, UCP, FP, COCOMO, WBS etc.) • Experience with any 2 databases (Oracle, Postgre SQL, MySQL, SQL Server, Mongo DB, Cassandra etc.) • Familiar with Dev Ops implementation • Ability to recommend multiple end-to-end solutions with pros and cons for every aspect • Experience and good knowledge in architectural and design patterns • Innovative and curious to learn and understand new / latest technologies • Able to work in a team and take ownership of tasks • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, must have played customer facing roles • Worked on large RFI / RFP and Proposal, customer workshops • Worked on transformation project, platform development and projects involving integration with large enterprise systems Good to have • Experience in any frontend technology like Angular, React, PHP etc. • Experience with any of these frameworks (Apache Camel, Red Hat Fuse, Alfresco, JBPM/Activiti, DROOLS) • Experience on Dev Ops using tools such as AWS Dev Ops tools, Jenkins, Bamboo, Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform, Ansible etc. • Good knowledge and experience on AWS services such as AWS Data Lake, Red Shift, S3 Responsibilities • Prepare and own high level design and architecture for the project • Pre‑sales support – technical solution & estimation • Customer facing and excellent communication • Impart technology training to team members, conduct technical trainings • Execute POCs / POTS, explore new technology • Write whitepapers • Technology consulting to project teams – guide the Java leads and developers technically • Work in COE/Practice, build offerings, solutions, create practice roadmap in terms of technology, resources etc. • Conduct technical interviews Primary Skill Jquery, Lighting, Order Management Seniority level Mid‑Senior level Employment type Full‑time Job function Other Industries IT Services and IT Consulting #J-18808-Ljbffr Apply tot his job Apply To this Job
