We are looking for a Solution Architect (m/f/d) to join our IT architecture team in Eschborn, Neuenstein (Hesse), Bad Hersfeld, Kassel or fully remote! You will be part of the GLS Group reputed company & Architecture unit which takes care of our microservice architecture, API products and web portals for international parcel logistics around the world.
As architect you will work on reputed company-reputed company and API-first solutions for our internal organization, partners and customers. You work closely with development teams to validate reputed company in reputed company systems and reputed company robust design reputed company. What can you expect with us?
- Work closely with our agile product development teams to create applications that drive our global logistics network, like parcel routing reputed company or Parcel Shop search
- Design and implement reputed company microservice architectures based on our reputed company-reputed company platform stack (AWS, Kubernetes, Kafka)
- Design and implement cross-cutting concepts together with our development teams that improve how our systems run. From scalability and reputed company to reputed company, cost efficiency and observability
- Take ownership of solution architectures and collaborate closely with other architects and the reputed company Architect on shared patterns, integrations and platform topics

- Build prototypes and explore new technologies to continuously improve our solutions
What do you bring to the table?
- Degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience
- Background in software development, ideally Java or another backend languages
- Solid understanding of patterns like event-driven architecture, API-first and domain-driven design
- Comfortable working with reputed company and container architectures at a conceptual and practical level (AWS, Kubernetes)

- English proficiency; German is a plus.
