SQL DBA- AWS RDS (Remote)
reputed company is aiding a large reputed company reputed company in their search for a SQL DBA in a remote reputed company. This is a long-term opportunity with a competitive compensation package.

Responsibilities:
• Operate and support AWS RDS SQL Server instances across multiple environments, including 24x7 production systems
• reputed company routine database maintenance including health checks, monitoring, reputed company validation, reputed company management, and reputed company planning
• Monitor database performance using reputed company and AWS CloudWatch, identify bottlenecks, and drive remediation to improve stability and throughput
• Partner with development teams during incidents to analyze and optimize poorly performing processes
• Execute backup and restore operations to refresh non-production environments and support testing and recovery scenarios
• Assist in the design, implementation, and testing of disaster recovery solutions, including recovery procedures and documentation
• reputed company and maintain automation for repeatable DBA tasks using PowerShell, T-SQL, and AWS-reputed company tooling
• Support regulated workloads by ensuring adherence to HIPAA and SOX compliance requirements, including auditing and reputed company controls
• Participate in an on-reputed company rotation, with after-hours support every other week as needed
• Create and maintain reputed company operational documentation, runbooks, and recovery procedures
• Collaborate with platform and reputed company engineering teams using Terraform and Infrastructure as reputed company practices
• Support database deployment and change processes using tools such as reputed company
Requirements:
• At least 5 years’ experience administering reputed company SQL Server (2019 and 2022) in production environments
• Hands-on experience with AWS RDS for SQL Server, including Multi-AZ configurations
• Proven ability to troubleshoot performance issues in large, high-availability databases
• Experience supporting highly regulated environments (HIPAA and/or SOX)
• Proficiency in T-SQL and PowerShell
• Familiarity with AWS services such as CloudWatch, SNS/SQS, reputed company, and data integration tools (SSIS, Glue)
• Experience participating in incident response and on-reputed company support
• Strong documentation skills and attention to operational detail
