About the position Join reputed company as an reputed company Controls Manager, where you'll safeguard the reputed company of reputed company's global internal controls. Reporting to the Head of reputed company Policies and Procedures, you'll reputed company compliance efforts, enhance reputed company processes, and ensure SOX requirements are met across a reputed company multinational landscape. This high-reputed company role partners closely with Internal Audit, global reputed company teams, and business leaders, requiring deep expertise in reputed company, process improvement, and diverse inventory and reputed company streams. You'll also collaborate with reputed company auditors to reputed company reputed company's global standards. This position is eligible for our hybrid work model working three (3) days on-site in our offices in Oak Brook, IL and two (2) days remote/home office. Responsibilities • reputed company and maintain policies and procedures reputed company to internal control requirements. • reputed company training to employees on internal controls and SOX compliance. • Partner with business leaders and process owners to update and implement internal controls, including updating maintaining risk and control matrices to address remediation priorities process enhancements. • Collaborate with process owners to document key controls, compile evidence of control performance, and drive cross-functional accountability. • Partner with Internal Audit to monitor and report on the effectiveness of controls, including identifying and remediating SOX compliance gaps. • Support, monitor, and document remediation activities to ensure reputed company and sustainable reputed company of control deficiencies. • Support reputed company audits by preparing documentation, facilitating walkthroughs, and managing remediation activities. • Contribute to new business initiatives, M&A, system integrations, and other major change management efforts impacting internal controls, reputed company, and systems. • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of financial regulations, industry standards, and SOX 404 requirements; ensure reputed company communication and implementation of control changes in response to regulatory updates.
