Analyst, Enterprise Risk

The analyst role within the Enterprise Risk Services team focuses on assisting clients in mitigating risk by establishing effective internal controls and improving financial reporting reliability.
Responsibilities
- Assist in the delivery of enterprise risk services engagements such as internal audits, risk and control assessment, SOX404 audit / advisory, IT audits, SOC audits, pre/post implementation reviews, IT risk management and governance to our broad base of clients
- Attend walkthroughs and communicate with client to understand their business, processes, systems and controls
- Conduct data analytics using audit tools/software
- Provide industry and technical expertise through client interactions, research and analysis, reports, technical work, management presentations, proposals and other high-quality deliverables
- Prepare correspondence, technical reports, client summaries and presentations outlining engagement findings, facts, impacts and recommendations
- Collaborate with client engagement teams and client contacts to build relationships
- Identify innovative ways to deliver added value to clients; ensure client needs are met and that relationships grow and develop
- Participate in business development initiatives and contribute to the preparation and delivery of competitive proposals
- Maintain flexibility to travel and work in person at our office, as necessary
Skills
- Bachelor's degree in business, accounting, finance, economics, computer science, or other related field
- Completion of, or working towards, CPA, CIA or CISA or other related designations or certifications
- Cybersecurity, data analytics, risk management or performance improvement experience is considered an asset
- Knowledge of industry standards, best practices and risk management frameworks is considered an asset
- Audit and/or IT Audit experience is considered an asset
- Customer service and/or client service experience is considered an asset
