[Remote] Business Development Representative

As a Business Development Representative, you will work to find new business opportunities, qualify leads, and build long-term relationships with clients to support the company's growth and expansion.
Responsibilities
- Qualify leads from marketing campaigns as sales opportunities
- Contact potential clients through cold calls and emails
- Present our company to potential clients
- Identify client needs and suggest appropriate products/services
- Customize product solutions to increase customer satisfaction
- Build long-term trusting relationships with clients
- Proactively seek new business opportunities in the market
- Report on (weekly/monthly/quarterly) sales results
- Stay up-to-date with new products/services and new pricing/payment plans
Skills
- 0-1+ years of Channel Sales, Business Development, or Partner Management within the Shopify, or similar ecosystem
- Sales and/or success experience in the E-commerce space
- Ability to prospect and find key decision-makers
- Strong demonstrable project management skills
- Understanding of and ability to execute a SaaS sales model including post-sale support
- A demonstrated skill with co-marketing or lead generation via content
- Ability to work remotely effectively
- Energized by building something new in a fast-paced, startup environment
- Set and exceed ambitious targets including quotas with a growth mindset
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
