Experienced Financial Analyst

Boeing is a leading aerospace company committed to innovation and collaboration. They are seeking an Experienced Financial Analyst to join their Financial Analysis Team, responsible for supporting key financial operations and guiding critical business decisions through data analysis and performance reporting.


Responsibilities

  • Compile data from multiple sources and develop overhead pool performance reports
  • Initiate variance analyses and provide understanding of operational and financial performance to management
  • Make recommendations to management on financial performance projections using financial and business knowledge and experience
  • Develop, review, analyze and maintain cost measurement baselines, and variance analyses and communicate cost trends
  • Facilitate/lead Overhead pool performance reviews with site Exec Functional leadership including Program Support/Finance, Engineering, and Operations
  • Engage in cost analysis and optimization efforts
  • Develop, review, analyze and maintain cost measurement baselines, and variance analyses and communicate cost trends
  • Provide coaching, training, mentoring to junior overhead analysts
  • Support various other special projects

Skills

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in accounting, finance, business or a related field
  • 1+ years of experience in Finance, Accounting, Business or related role

  • Collaboration and Independence: Strike the perfect balance. Collaborate effectively with teams while demonstrating the ability to work independently when needed
  • Master's Degree
  • 1+ years of experience with financial analysis, financial modeling, financial or resource forecasts, and/or assessment of associated risks and opportunities
  • 1+ years of experience managing financial results of a program, including profit and loss analysis
  • Experience using strong verbal and written communication skills both virtually and in-person, including ability to explain 'why'
  • Adaptability to rapid changing environments and ability to meet deliverables
  • Experienced change agent; ability to communicate and drive change with multiple stakeholders
