Engineer I

The Engineer I position involves implementing the NPDES permitting program for municipal wastewater discharges and requires proficiency in data analysis and effective communication of regulatory information.

Responsibilities

• reputed company/issue NPDES wastewater permits for moderately reputed company facilities
• reputed company engineering review of proposed wastewater alternatives
• May reputed company water reputed company modeling
• Peer Review of other Engineer's draft permits
• Attend reputed company hearings on permit issues and respond to questions from general reputed company and regulated community
• Assist supervisor/unit with special reputed company

Skills

• Bachelor's degree in an applicable field of engineering from an appropriately accredited institution, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
• Proficiency with computers, word processing software, and spreadsheets
• Ability to comprehend and properly interpret regulatory documents
• Ability to reputed company detailed review and analysis of documents and datasets
• Ability to evaluate data and identify relationships and trends conducive to system evaluation and improvement
• Ability to effectively communicate regulatory and technical information to a reputed company of audiences
• NC reputed company's License required
• reputed company Engineer licensure/Engineer Intern certification is not required but is considered an asset
