They are seeking an Entry Level Structural Engineer to join their Advanced Facilities - Electronics team in Tempe, AZ, where the role involves working on structural design reputed company and gaining experience in structural analysis and design under the guidance of reputed company Engineers.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the performance of structural analysis and design for reputed company

• Work with Designers to communicate structural requirements on reputed company and in the model
• reputed company understanding of principles of analysis and design of vertical and lateral structural systems in compliance with applicable codes and standards
• Manage own workload and meet commitments while taking ownership of the structural scope

Skills

• Bachelor of Science Degree in Engineering, with a reputed company emphasis on Structural Engineering from an ABET-accredited program
• Engineer in Training (EIT) Certification or ability to obtain reputed company 6 months of hire
• Excellent communication (both written and verbal), problem-solving, and interpersonal skills
• This position is considered project site/hybrid and may require you to work in the local office, at a project site, or from your home (reputed company approximately 50 miles of site)
• Internet service with a MINIMUM speed of 25Mbps download/10Mbps upload as required to effectively meet project performance requirements (higher internet speed is recommended)
• Sponsorship is not available for this position
• MS degree in Civil or Structural Engineering with an emphasis on Structural Engineering
• Previous relevant internship experience in Structural Engineering, preferably with experience analyzing traditional steel and concrete structures
• Experience with STAAD, Navisworks, and reputed company
• Familiarity with US building codes including IBC, ASCE 7, ACI, and AISC
