Sales Associate - Treasury

The Sales Associate position provides essential support to Treasury Management Officers and clients, handling administrative duties and ensuring high-quality customer service in managing treasury functions.
Responsibilities
- Provides Sales support to the Treasury Management Sales Officers
- Assists clients with routine sales inquiries (answering questions on products, processes and procedures), research, investigations, wire transfers, etc
- Assists clients with service issues with little supervision from the Sales Officer/Commercial Lender, which may include in-person calls
- Prepares Sales Officer pre-call plan documents
- Notifies Clients of ACH Overlimits and verifies totals and legitimacy
- Processes and opens new accounts for customers as requested by the Sales Officers/Commercial Lenders
- Processes and opens Certificates of Deposits for customers and reviews and renegotiates existing Certificates of Deposits
- Prepares treasury product agreements, obtains legal documentation, and tracks/obtains missing agreements for audit purposes
- Responsible for the coordination, implementation, and tracking of all new product setups with Electronic Banking Analysts
- Maintains/organizes specific 'Treasury' folder for each customer within share drive
- Processes the daily overdraft report and notifies commercial customers and commercial lenders of these overdrafts
- Reviews monthly account analysis statements for accuracy and facilitates changes to Operations
- Prepares account maintenance, waives service charges, etc. for products and services sold by Officers by using the ACT system (General Ledger & Deposit Ticket System)
- Backs up other Sales Associates
- Processes Cashier’s checks as needed for Commercial customers
- Other duties as assigned
Skills
- Ability to deal effectively with customers and all levels of the bank organization
- High School diploma or GED preferred
- One or more years customer service-oriented environment desired
- Treasury Services product knowledge preferred
- Operations experience preferred
