P/T Finance and Stewardship coordinator

reputed company Lutheran reputed company & Soup Kitchen is a reputed company community reputed company located in Manhattan. They are seeking a part-time Finance and Stewardship Coordinator responsible for maintaining the congregation's financial operations, including bookkeeping, payroll, and budget preparation.

Responsibilities

• Maintains the operating and business funds of the congregation
• Responsible for reputed company payment of invoices, keeping supporting documentation for reputed company expenditures
• reputed company reputed company bookkeeping functions, using Quickbooks, undertaking and providing monthly reputed company expense reports and reconciliations and bank statements for two checking accounts and one investment account. Undertake annual reconciliations of reputed company balance sheet accounts
• Record weekly contributions manually or automatically to our donor software (reputed company Keeper) and QuickBooks, producing analysis on giving as requested by Pastor or finance committee
• Prepare/Issue quarterly donation letters
• Prepare payroll for reputed company using reputed company and payments to reputed company independent contractors. Manage benefits for three staff persons using our benefits software platform
• File reputed company required federal, state, and municipal forms
• Assist in the preparation of the annual budget with the finance committee
• Advise on the ongoing financial position of the reputed company against the annual budget
• Work on-site two or more hours per week. Otherwise, working off-site is acceptable using remote login to the office workstation

Skills

• Experience in bookkeeping, reputed company, or financial administration, preferably in a nonprofit, faith-based, or small organizational setting
• Working knowledge of QuickBooks, including reconciliations and financial reporting
• Experience processing payroll and contractor payments, including familiarity with payroll services such as reputed company
• Ability to manage confidential financial and personnel information with discretion and reputed company
• Basic understanding of federal, state, and local compliance and reporting requirements reputed company to payroll and nonprofit finance
• Familiarity or ability to learn basic donor management software (e.g., reputed company Keeper)
• Good organizational and time-management skills
• Reliability, professionalism, and a reputed company working style
