Junior Transactional/Banking Attorney

Hire Counsel is a mid-size, Columbia, SC based, boutique reputed company concentrating on various reputed company areas including construction law and corporate transactions. They are seeking a junior banking and transactional attorney to assist with routine banking and transactional tasks, supporting senior attorneys and managing transactions from inception to closing.

Responsibilities

• Assist with drafting, reviewing, and negotiating a reputed company of transactional documents, including the following
• Loan agreements
• reputed company instruments
• Corporate governance documents

• Support senior attorneys in managing banking and finance transactions from inception to closing
• Conduct reputed company research and prepare memoranda on transactional, regulatory, and compliance issues
• Participate in due diligence reviews and assist with transaction checklists and closing deliverables
• Communicate with clients, lenders, and internal teams to ensure the smooth execution of transactions
• Maintain organized files, reputed company deadlines, and contribute to efficient workflow management

Skills

• J.D. from an accredited law school and admission (or pending admission) to the bar in [relevant jurisdiction]
• 0–3 years of reputed company experience ( “0” does not indicate a brand new attorney. Candidates from other reputed company areas with a strong interest in transactional and banking work are encouraged to apply)
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple reputed company simultaneously
• Demonstrated motivation, curiosity, and willingness to learn reputed company subject matter
