In this role, you will supervise the department’s technical and administrative functions, serve as a technical resource for team members, and collaborate across the organization to support enterprise goals. You will also ensure the implementation of initiatives aligned with both clinical and non-clinical operational needs.</p><p></p><p><b>A caregiver in this <span style="overflow-wrap: break-word; display: inline; text-decoration: inherit; hyphens: auto;">position works remotely</span> from 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m and in the states of Ohio, Florida or Nevada. </b></p><p></p><p>A caregiver who excels in this role will: </p><ul><li><p>Supervise a team of IT professionals and oversee the technical and administrative functions of the IT Department. </p></li><li><p>Maintain hands-on responsibility for technology <span style="overflow-wrap: break-word; display: inline; text-decoration: inherit; hyphens: auto;">processes, tools and</span> system performance. </p></li><li><p>Serve as a technical resource and mentor to team members, fostering professional growth and collaboration. </p></li><li><p>Develop <span style="overflow-wrap: break-word; display: inline; text-decoration: inherit; hyphens: auto;">and maintain effective,</span> high-performing teams through coaching, <span style="overflow-wrap: break-word; display: inline; text-decoration: inherit; hyphens: auto;">performance reviews and</span> engagement initiatives. </p></li><li><p><span style="overflow-wrap: break-word; display: inline; text-decoration: inherit; hyphens: auto;">Maintain appropriate</span> <span style="overflow-wrap: break-word; display: inline; text-decoration: inherit; hyphens: auto;">staffing levels,</span> approve and schedule paid time off and leave requests and ensure workload balance. </p></li><li><p>Collaborate across departments to achieve organizational goals and implement initiatives that support both clinical and non-clinical units. </p></li><li><p>Assist the Director or Manager in operational and strategic planning for the IT Department, including fostering innovation, <span style="overflow-wrap: break-word; display: inline; text-decoration: inherit; hyphens: auto;">planning projects and allocating resources. </span></p></li><li><p><span style="overflow-wrap: break-word; display: inline; text-decoration: inherit; hyphens: auto;">Benchmark, analyze and</span> report on IT infrastructure and systems, making recommendations for improvement and growth. </p></li><li><p>Supervise the deployment, monitoring, maintenance, development, upgrade, and support of all IT systems, including servers, PCs, operating systems, <span style="overflow-wrap: break-word; display: inline; text-decoration: inherit; hyphens: auto;">hardware, software and</span> peripherals. </p></li></ul><p></p><p>Minimum qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include: </p><ul><li><p>Bachelor's Degree </p></li><li><p><i>*Additional progressively responsible work experience in IT or related field/industry may offset degree requirement.*</i></p></li><li><p>Four to six years of strong technical knowledge of common network, server and/or PC operating systems</p></li><li><p>Extensive application support experience with core <span style="overflow-wrap: break-word; display: inline; text-decoration: inherit; hyphens: auto;">enterprise/divisional</span> clinical and/or business applications</p></li><li><p>Strong communication, interpersonal and project management skills</p></li><li><p>Understanding of human resource management principles, practices and procedures</p></li></ul><p> </p><p>Preferred qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include: </p><ul><li><p>Advanced knowledge of project management <span style="overflow-wrap: break-word; display: inline; text-decoration: inherit; hyphens: auto;">practices </span></p></li><li><p>Technical certifications in Customer Relationship Management, Computer Maintenance, Project Management, Information Security, Networking, Systems <span style="overflow-wrap: break-word; display: inline; text-decoration: inherit; hyphens: auto;">Engineering, Telecommunications and/or</span> application support domains </p></li><li><p>Experience in IT infrastructure planning and development</p></li><li><p>Strong Epic reporting expertise, including the ability to write Clarity reports and work with Epic data sets</p></li><li><p>Skilled in SQL (including Microsoft SQL Server and Oracle SQL Developer), Clarity data sets, Tableau (dashboard creation) and SAS Enterprise Guide</p></li><li><p>Epic Certification: can be obtained after hire</p></li><li><p>Knowledge of Clarity report writing</p></li><li><p>Experience in the Revenue Cycle</p></li></ul><p></p><p style="text-align:inherit"> </p><p>The policy of Cleveland Clinic Health System and its system hospitals (Cleveland Clinic Health System) is to provide equal opportunity to all of our caregivers and applicants for employment in our drug free environment.
