About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Bilingual Healthcare Customer Service Representative to join our team. As a key contributor, you will be the eyes and ears for our team, fielding customer inquiries and finding innovative ways to respond. You will work in a collaborative and engaging environment, interacting with people from all walks of life, and no two days will be the same. This is a remote work opportunity, allowing you to work from the comfort of your own home, as long as you are located in one of the following states: AL, AR, AZ, CT, DE, FL, GA, IA, ID, IL, IN, KS, KY, LA, MA, MD, ME, MI, MN, MO, MS, MT, NC, ND, NE, NH, NJ, NM, NV, NY, OH, OK, PA, RI, SC, SD, TN, TX, UT, VA, VT, WI, WV, WY.

Responsibilities

Your responsibilities as a Bilingual Healthcare Customer Service Representative will include:

  • Connecting with customers via phone, email, chat, and/or social media to resolve their questions or concerns
  • Calmly attempting to resolve and de-escalate any issues
  • Escalating interactions when necessary and appropriate
  • Responding to requests for assistance and/or possible processing payments
  • Tracking all call-related information for auditing and reporting purposes
  • Providing feedback on call issues
  • Meeting sales objectives as defined

Qualifications

  • Bilingual Spanish/English language skills
  • At least 6 months of customer service experience
  • High school graduate or GED
  • Ability to type 30 words per minute
  • Comfort with desktop computer systems
  • Proven oral and written communication skills
  • Logical problem-solving skills
  • Availability to work various shifts
  • Ability to use Windows operating systems
  • Organization and work prioritization skills
  • Ability to work independently
  • Ability to work in a constantly changing and fast-paced environment
  • Ability to stay composed and objective
  • Strong listening skills
  • Superior negotiating skills

Preferred Qualifications

While not required, the following qualifications are preferred:

  • 6 months of call center experience
  • 6 months of sales experience

Work from Home Requirements

To work from home, you will need to meet the following requirements:

  • Internet connection with a minimum subscribed download rate of 50.0 Mbps and a minimum subscribed upload rate of 10.0 Mbps
  • ISP with no packet loss and ping under 50ms
  • Proof of internet speed required
  • Clean and quiet workspace
