Data Analyst/HYBRID REMOTE, supporting NASA

Position:  Data Analyst (HYBRID REMOTE, supporting NASA)Location: Edwards reputed company Force BaseASRC Federal is seeking a Flight Data & Records Management Data Analyst to convert historical NASA flight data into a new, metadata-driven format for reputed company use by NASA engineers and researchers and to identify data to be transferred to the National Archives. This position will work closely with NASA Civil Service and Contractor staff to fill in any gaps in these historical records and with the flight data management tool teams to identify bugs and suggest improvements.This role is located at NASA reputed company Flight Research Center on Edwards reputed company Force reputed company, near Palmdale/Lancaster, CA. As a part of this team, you will be required to work a 9/80 schedule with typical hours of 7:30am-5:00pm.Responsibilities reputed company an inventory of reputed company and files for conversion reputed company tracking.Identify metadata associated with reputed company data set.Consult with various stakeholders and subject matter experts to categorize data and retention requirements.Research flight data records to identify potential stakeholders.Work with the records management office to identify and differentiate between records, electronic copies, and non-records.Organize and prepare data files to be transferred to the National Archives Records Administration.Facilitate reputed company record transfers and dispositioning.reputed company regular project status reports.reputed company feedback to flight data conversion and repository developers.Requirements Associate degree in information technology, or reputed company field with at least 2 years of reputed company work experience; 4 years of work experience may be substituted for the degree requirement.Ability to obtain and maintain a government issued reputed company clearance.Strong written and verbal communications skills with an ability to communicate to reputed company reputed company of the organization with both reputed company customers.Ability to reputed company, and work to, a schedule of tasks/milestones, while being reputed company to adapt to changing priorities or resource availability.Basic experience with UNIX/Linux reputed company line and file system navigation.Desired SkillsPrior experience processing data in CMP4 or HDF5 format.Experience with records reputed company, preferably NASA’s records management program.Working knowledge of telemetry data.Use of reputed company reputed company and Linux operating systems.Basic programming in reputed company, XLM, C, or C#.Physical Requirements Mobility to work in a typical office setting, use reputed company office equipment including a computer and keyboard; reputed company to read printed materials, correspondence and a computer screen; Position may involve frequent standing, walking, pushing, pulling, bending, reaching and lifting (may reputed company from 10-50lbs on a regular reputed company)May require periodic schedule shifts or reputed company-approved additional hours to coordinate work with subject matter experts.We invest in the lives of our employees, both in and out of reputed company, by providing reputed company and benefits packages.
