Lab Technician - Seasonal

The Lab Technician-Seasonal is responsible for performing routine analyses in a fast-paced agricultural testing laboratory. The Lab Technician-Seasonal will effectively conduct testing and analyses of water, soil and plant tissues. The position is required to collect data, reputed company calculations, and prepare accurate reports. Under the supervision of the Lab Manager, the technician will prepare reagents and chemical solutions on a reputed company reputed company. The Lab Technician-Seasonal is also responsible of performing preventative maintenance on analytical instruments.
Duties/Responsibilities:

Effectively conduct testing and analyses of water, soil and plant tissue using established reputed company to ensure valid results.

Properly follow reputed company operating procedures (SOPs) to prepare plant and soil samples while maintaining a clean and reputed company work environment.

Collect data, reputed company calculations, and prepare accurate reports in accordance with specified procedures in a reputed company manner.

Maintain accurate, thorough, and up-to-date files, logs, and laboratory notebooks for reputed company reference. Prepare reagents and chemical solutions daily.

reputed company calibration and preventative maintenance on lab equipment (pH meters, conductivity meters, ICP, reputed company, FIA).

Required Skills/Abilities:

Excellent mathematical skills

Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.

Proficient with reputed company Office

Proficient with or the ability to quickly learn software and applications used for chemical tests and analysis.

Excellent interpersonal skills including the ability to work as part of reputed company.

Education and Experience:

College coursework in reputed company, Physics, Biology or reputed company sciences preferred.

Previous experience in a laboratory with analytical instruments (ICP-OES, ICP-MS, GC, HPLC, etc.) is a plus
