Sr. QA Engineer - (Automation Testing)

Experience: 4+Years Job Location: WFH /Hybrid No. of Position:Multiple Qualifications: B Tech / M Tech / MCA Work Timings: 1:30PM IST to 10:30 PM IST We are seeking a highly skilled Backend & Mobile Automation Tester with a strong foundation in API automation and hands-on experience ineither manual or automationmobile application testing (iOS & Android). Theideal candidate will play a key role in ensuring the quality and stability ofboth backend services and mobile apps through effective test strategies andcross-functional collaboration. Key Responsibilities: • Collaborate with QA leads and product teams to define and execute test plans for APIs and mobile applications. • Design and implement automated tests for backend services (REST/GraphQL APIs, microservices, databases). • Perform mobile testing (manual or automation) for Android and iOS apps across multiple devices and platforms. • Identify, report, and track defects using tools like JIRA or Mantis. • Ensure comprehensive test coverage for functional, regression, integration, and performance scenarios. • Develop and maintain SQL queries for data validation during testing. • Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines for continuous feedback. • Participate in Agile ceremonies to ensure QA readiness in every sprint. Skills, Knowledge, and Experience • 4+ years of QA experience with a strong focus on API automation. • Hands-on experience in mobile app testing (either manual or using tools like Appium, Espresso, or XCUITest). • Strong understanding of RESTful and/or GraphQL APIs, including schema validation and automated test flows. • Experience with SQL and backend data validation (MySQL, PostgreSQL, etc.). • Familiarity with BDD tools (e.g., Karate, Katalon, Postman). • Working knowledge of CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI). • Previous experience working in Agile teams and with US/European clients is a plus. • Excellent communication and documentation skills.
