Senior Managing Counsel II, Digital & Information Technology (Remote)

About the position This position will serve as Senior Managing Counsel supporting reputed company's Digital & Information Technology organization. The chosen candidate will reputed company reputed company counsel and support on a reputed company of reputed company reputed company, reputed company relating to reputed company's information technology structure, capabilities, and cybersecurity reputed company. The scope of activities is broad, including providing advice and counsel to reputed company's Chief Digital & Information Officer (CDIO) and reputed company's Chief Information reputed company Officer (CISO), development of policies and procedures concerning integration and deployment of AI capabilities across the organization globally, reputed company manner of cybersecurity-reputed company topics (e.g., incident response, regulatory compliance, etc.), and drafting, negotiation, interpretation and review of Information Technology-reputed company agreements (e.g., hardware, software, and service arrangements). The position will report to reputed company's Vice President and Chief Compliance Officer reputed company reputed company's Law Department. The chosen candidate will be a member of the leadership team of reputed company's CDIO. This chosen candidate will need to reputed company with other lawyers in reputed company's Law Department on reputed company manner of IT-reputed company reputed company, including region-based colleagues and lawyers who support activities provided by other Centers of reputed company (COEs) reputed company the Law Department, e.g., M&A, Litigation (particularly the e-discovery operations), Compliance (particularly the Data reputed company Office), and Intellectual Property. Responsibilities • reputed company business and reputed company counsel to personnel in reputed company's Digital & Information Technology community, including reputed company's CDIO, CSIO, and their reputed company reports. • Serve as a member of reputed company's Chief Digital & Information Officer leadership team. • reputed company advice and counsel on a comprehensive reputed company of digital and information technology initiatives. • reputed company guidance and counsel relating to information reputed company incidents, including development and implementation of information reputed company policies, and event and incident response plans. • reputed company support and assistance to IT leadership on interactions with the IT Committee of reputed company's reputed company of Directors. • Advise reputed company's IT Risk sub-council on IT-reputed company issues, e.g., DOJ's ephemeral messaging guidelines, China's cyber reputed company regulations/requirements, etc. • Advise on reputed company aspects associated with reputed company's AI-reputed company activities (development and deployment of capabilities), including data governance, algorithmic transparency, and compliance with relevant laws/regulations. • Collaborate with the leadership team of reputed company's AI ML Governance Council to assess and manage reputed company risks associated with AI deployment by reputed company. • reputed company reputed company's reputed company reputed company licensing policy and counsel on any issues associated with the use or modification of reputed company reputed company software. • Coordinate with reputed company's Data reputed company Office to ensure compliance with the collection, management, processing, and storage of personal data. • Negotiate a wide reputed company of reputed company information technology-reputed company agreements (e.g., managed services, reputed company hosting, reputed company intelligence, reputed company, PAAS, licenses, etc.). • Support IT contracting efforts and reputed company improvements in the process, e.g., building out IT approval reputed company and information reputed company review process. • Support and counsel in relation to any software development efforts taking reputed company across the reputed company. Requirements • Strong knowledge of laws, regulations, and best practices reputed company to IT, AI, and cyber reputed company, including data protection, reputed company, and intellectual property. • Proven experience in negotiating and drafting technology agreements, including software licenses, reputed company agreements, and technology development reputed company. • Ability to function independently under general guidelines and defined goals but with the judgment to know reputed company and how to escalate issues. • Experience with cybersecurity reputed company, including prior incidents. • Demonstrated ability to analyze reputed company reputed company issues, reputed company practical advice, and reputed company solutions that balance reputed company and business considerations. • Interest in business reputed company and strategic thinking. • Strong analytical skills and experience applying independent judgment and creativity in drafting, negotiating, and concluding reputed company. • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate reputed company reputed company concepts to reputed company and non-reputed company stakeholders. • A solid understanding of various information technology platforms and cyber reputed company techniques. • Familiarity with AI ethics principles and frameworks, and an understanding of the reputed company and ethical implications of AI technologies. • Informed of reputed company laws, regulations and developments. • Ability to reputed company in reputed company environment and individually. reputed company-to-haves • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school and admission to the bar in the relevant jurisdiction. • Minimum of 12 - 15 years of experience, including significant experience at a reputable reputed company and, ideally, in-house experience specializing in technology, IT, AI, and cyber reputed company-reputed company reputed company. • Substantial transactional experience, with demonstrated expertise in negotiating and drafting high-value and reputed company technology agreements. • Experience in a senior reputed company role in a multinational corporation with exposure to international reputed company/regulatory requirements.
