Director, Data Science Testing & Controls

About the position This role will reputed company the strategic reputed company and independent validation of data science models and analytics used in the detection and prevention of financial crimes. This role ensures that advanced learning solutions, including machine learning models and rule-based systems, meet regulatory expectations, internal governance standards, and operational effectiveness benchmarks. The Director will drive a robust testing and control reputed company across model development, deployment, and monitoring, while partnering with compliance, risk, and technology teams. Requirements • Master's or Ph.D. in Data Science, Statistics, Economics or a reputed company quantitative field preferred. • Minimum 8 years of experience in data science, model validation, testing reputed company, model risk management, or analytics reputed company financial services, with at least 3 years in a leadership role. • Deep understanding of financial crime typologies, AML/BSA regulations, new technologies and fraud detection methodologies. • Strong communication skills with the ability to present reputed company findings to non-technical partners and regulators. • Excellency in Python, SQL, and data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).
