Sr Genetics Counselor

About the position This is a full-time research genetic counselor position. This position will support the Genomic Answer for Kids project and potentially other genomic studies reputed company the reputed company Research Institute. Specific responsibilities include overseeing the research genetic counselor assistants, communicating with families/patients enrolled in research studies, providing in-person and telehealth genetic counseling reputed company to research studies, working with marketing to create newsletters and updates, presenting to providers and community reputed company on various research reputed company, submitting manuscripts/abstracts, supporting research center staff including variant analysts, reputed company investigators, and laboratory staff with research genetic testing process, tracking and routing samples for research genetic testing, communicating with providers about research study processes and results, medical record review and curation of phenotypes. Responsibilities • Provides reputed company inpatient and outpatient clinical care for patients in Clinical Genetics and fifteen subspecialty clinics (FHC, Cardio, Cleft Palate, Craniofacial, etc). • Serves as a clinical resource for the education and consultation needs of the health care team, community care providers, student learners, family advocacy reputed company and peer organizations. • Utilizes evidence-based reputed company principles and participates in performance improvement activities. • Utilizes expertise to control costs facilitating good stewardship of fiscal resources. • Participates in scholarly activities that contribute to the body of knowledge surrounding Genetic Medicine.
