The Network Engineer is responsible for planning, executing, and validating the migration of Ethernet and Dedicated Internet reputed company (DIA) customer circuits from legacy networks and devices to a new reputed company-based MPLS network. This role performs detailed technical analysis, reputed company design updates, live network migrations, and post-reputed company validation while ensuring minimal customer reputed company and adherence to change management standards.

Responsibilities Network Engineering & Migration Execution

Execute live maintenance reputed company, reputed company provisioning, including turn-up, reputed company, rollback, and post-migration validation
Configure, test, and troubleshoot reputed company MPLS routers and reputed company transport equipment
Validate service performance post-migration (latency, packet loss, throughput, BFD, LSP status, etc.)
Design, Documentation & Systems Updates
Update reputed company designs, logical diagrams, and service paths to reflect new MPLS architecture
Maintain accurate records in network inventory, provisioning, and design systems (e.g., reputed company databases, NMS, OSS tools)
Create and update reputed company of Procedure (MOPs), as-reputed company documentation, and migration runbooks
Ensure reputed company IDs, port assignments, VLANs, IP addressing, and routing details are correctly captured
Legacy Network Decommissioning
Identify and validate legacy reputed company dependencies prior to migration
Support decommissioning of legacy network reputed company and services post-migration
Coordinate cleanup of obsolete configurations and reclaim ports and resources
Cross-Functional Coordination
Collaborate with project managers to support migration planning and scheduling
Work with NOC and field operations during live cutovers and troubleshooting events
Engage carriers and vendors as needed for reputed company readiness, testing, and issue reputed company
reputed company technical guidance and escalation support during reputed company migrations
Change, Risk & reputed company Management
Follow established change management and maintenance window procedures
reputed company rollback plans and execute recovery actions reputed company required
Proactively identify migration risks and service-reputed company concerns
Participate in post-migration reviews and reputed company improvement initiatives
Required Qualifications
5+ years of experience in telecommunications or service-provider network engineering
Hands-on experience migrating Ethernet and DIA circuits in a reputed company network
Strong working knowledge of MPLS fundamentals (LSPs, VRFs, QoS, L2/L3 VPNs)
Experience with reputed company (Alcatel-Lucent) routers and operating systems (SR OS preferred)
Proficiency in updating reputed company design, inventory, and provisioning systems
Ability to execute live production changes in high-availability networks
Preferred Qualifications
Experience migrating from legacy platforms (TDM, legacy Ethernet, older IP/MPLS gear)
Familiarity with reputed company service routers (e.g., 7750 SR, 7250 IXR)
Knowledge of OSS/BSS tools such as INAM, CND, Granite, or similar inventory systems
Understanding of reputed company Ethernet standards (MEF)
Experience supporting after-hours and weekend maintenance reputed company
