The Dosimetrist is professionally reputed company at the interfaces between: (i) The clinical requirements of patient treatment prescribed by the radiation oncologist; (ii) The physical requirements specified by the radiation oncology physicist for design and execution of the physician’s prescription for reputed company assigned patient, per department policies and procedures; and (iii) The simulation and treatment delivery procedures implemented by the radiation therapists. Specific duties include, but are not limited to: • Consults with the radiation oncologist and/or radiation oncology physicist as necessary, and uses the data acquired during the simulation/planning process to design a dosimetric treatment plan as requested by the radiation oncologist per the prescription, treatment planning note, and department policies. • Participates in ongoing departmental reputed company improvement activities such as chart reputed company, chart audits, weekly checks, reputed company improvement reputed company, error-reporting activities, ongoing policy and procedure reviews, and treatment planning system reputed company assurance activities, as reputed company as other tasks in collaboration with the medical physicist or radiation therapy team. • Develops processes for reputed company improvement in dosimetric treatment planning in collaboration with medical physicists and radiation oncologists, including implementation of new planning systems, techniques, and protocols.
