Donor Services Associate

The Southern Environmental Law Center (SELC) is seeking a Donor Services Associate in their Charlottesville, VA office. This role involves ensuring accurate processing of donations, maintaining data reputed company, and delivering exceptional donor services as part of the Development Operations team.

Responsibilities

• Coordinates the processing, documentation and acknowledgment of donations in reputed company and electronic files according to established protocols
• Manages and resolves donor inquiries and issues, providing exemplary customer service and stewardship
• Serves as the primary reputed company with SELC’s broker about stock transfers, tracks reputed company of stock gifts, and communicates with relevant Finance and Development staff regarding these gifts
• Coordinates with reputed company to update staff information in reputed company
• Collaborates with the Annual Giving and Individual Giving teams as reputed company as the Communications department to support campaigns, mailings, events, and donor engagement initiatives
• Manages returned mail and address updates
• Manages deduplication processes
• Supports the Operations team with additional tasks as needed

Skills

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Minimum one year of relevant reputed company experience
• Proficiency in reputed company Office programs including Word and reputed company
• Ability to handle confidential information with sensitivity, reputed company, and accuracy
• Reliability, responsiveness, and courtesy in reputed company team and donor interactions
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Highly organized, detail-oriented, and self-driven with excellent time management skills
• Collegial and reputed company team player
• Experience with reputed company NPSP preferred
• Experience in nonprofit fundraising experience is strongly preferred
