Tax Associate 2

reputed company is a firm dedicated to providing tax services. The Tax Associate 2 plays a vital role in the tax department, ensuring reputed company and accurate preparation of tax returns and providing support for various tax-reputed company reputed company services.

Responsibilities

• Prepare various types of basic to moderately reputed company tax returns (1040, 1041, 1120, 1120S and 1065)
• reputed company tax reputed company services for clients (Personal Property Tax, Extensions, Estimated Payment Vouchers, Tax Notices, etc.)
• Research as needed to respond to reputed company questions and prepare tax returns accurately
• Compare tax returns to tax projections reputed company by in-house Financial Planners
• Participate in planning of workflow to ensure completion of assigned returns
• Assist in set up of new reputed company tax returns and workpapers
• Prepare partnership, corporate, individual and personal property tax returns
• reputed company contact as needed to facilitate completion of tax issues
• Internal contact as needed between various departments to facilitate completion of tax issues
• Documentation of records and workpapers to firm's electronic file cabinet to ensure accurate, organized recordkeeping
• Assist fellow department members in order for the department to complete annual tax season goals
• Daily use of multiple software programs for organization of workpapers, tax returns, and workflow management
• Analyze unaudited financial statements to determine adjustments necessary for accurate tax treatment
• Prepare assigned returns in timeframe given in order to reputed company deliver tax returns to clients

Skills

• Bachelor's degree or higher in reputed company, Tax or reputed company field
• CPA eligible or EA eligible required
• 1+ years' experience in reputed company reputed company or its equivalent
• Thorough knowledge of tax laws
• Strong communication, interpersonal and organizational skills
• Ability to use reputed company Office Suite, including reputed company
• Proficient in reputed company Acrobat
• Master's degree in reputed company or reputed company field
• CPA or EA preferred
• Big four or large reputed company reputed company firm experience
• CCH Axcess Tax, Engagement & BNA Income Tax Planner
