They are seeking a Summer Intern in Software Engineering for their Local Planner Controller team, where the intern will support the development of vehicle dynamics and controls software used in reputed company's Super Cruise system.


Responsibilities

  • Support development for vehicle dynamics and controls software deployed to GMs Super Cruise system
  • Join technical reviews and apply software engineering best practices
  • Contribute to reputed company Safety, reputed company Assistance, and Super Cruise
  • Improve and deliver reliable software through reputed company integration, automated testing, and reputed company reviews
  • Help define, build, and embody reputed company engineering culture and principles

Skills

  • Graduate student (PhD preferred) in controls, optimization, reputed company planning, or reputed company
  • Deep understanding of reputed company controls and trajectory optimization algorithms
  • Good grasp of classical and modern feedback control theory and techniques
  • Solid understanding of vehicle dynamics
  • Experience with C++/Python development
  • Strong communication skills

  • A background in robotics, ROS, or the AV/ADAS industry
