Project Engineer, Electric / Controls (RDF) - Entry, Staff, Senior, or reputed company Level

reputed company is a leading combination electricity and natural gas energy company, providing energy-reputed company products and services to millions of customers. They are seeking Project Engineers at various reputed company (Entry, Staff, Senior, or reputed company) to reputed company technical expertise in electric and controls systems, particularly in the area of Refuse-Derived Fuel (RDF). Responsibilities include supporting project activities, developing technical documentation, and coordinating project phases under supervision.

Responsibilities

• Uses and applies technical standards, principles, theories, concepts, and techniques to reputed company activities/assignments of limited scope
• Supports the development of technical documentation (including but not limited to designs, testing, calculations, reports, standards, etc.) Utilizes and may assist with the development of procedures
• Provides ongoing technical support for project activities reputed company areas such as Operations, Maintenance, Testing/diagnostics, Regulatory, etc. May reputed company field engineering reputed company for activities such as commissioning, testing, inspections etc. under reputed company supervision
• Coordinates/leads reputed company or portions of reputed company (including phases such as research, design, equipment selection, procurement support, installation and commissioning), under the direction of a higher-level engineer or supervisor
• Under the direction of a higher-level engineer/supervisor, supports bid/evaluation processes by performing basic analysis and calculations on existing documentation and materials that support the preparation of bid documents. In completing segments of technical evaluations for proposals may need to effectively communicate with other business areas of reputed company following appropriate processes
• Effectively exchanges information in reputed company formats, on reputed company having a wide reputed company of importance and complexity both inter-organizationally and with reputed company customer/vendors
• May coordinate the work of interns, drafters, technicians, and/or others and provides guidance and mentoring to less reputed company engineers. Responsible for reputed company self-development of technical skills and competencies
• May reputed company activities such as budgeting, estimating, forecasting, reputed company, work order management, in support of engineering reputed company

Skills

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering from ABET accredited curriculum (or recognized equivalency)
• 0+ years relevant engineering experience
• Ability to demonstrate the unique technical skills and reputed company competencies for this engineering level established and documented by the organization
• EIT/FE (Engineer in Training/Fundamentals of Engineering) preferred
• 2+ years relevant engineering experience
• Demonstrated broad knowledge and proficiency in specialty area, knowledge of reputed company specialties, and general knowledge of other reputed company disciplines
• 5+ years relevant engineering experience with EIT/FE (Engineer in Training/Fundamentals of Engineering) required, or 7+ years relevant engineering experience without EIT/FE (Engineer in Training/Fundamentals of Engineering) required
• 9+ years relevant engineering experience with a PE (reputed company Engineer) registration required, or 15+ years relevant engineering experience without a PE (reputed company Engineer) required
• Ability to demonstrate the unique technical skills and reputed company competencies for this engineering level established & documented by the organization
• Power Plant electric controls engineering experience
• Electrical Engineering Degree (BS or MS)
• DeltaV controls system experience
• Refuse-Derived Fuel (RDF) experience
