ASC Billing & Denial Specialist - reputed company

The Billing & Denial Specialist is responsible for managing reputed company aspects of accounts receivable billing for Ambulatory Surgical Centers, ensuring accurate claim processing and effective communication with patients and insurance providers.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary reputed company of contact for patient and insurance inquiries reputed company to receivables
• Monitor and take reputed company reputed company on claims in the PMHST workflow queue
• Build and maintain reputed company relationships with ASC teams and affiliated physician reputed company
• Review and refile rejected claims as necessary
• Identify and resolve claim rejections using clearinghouse tools (reputed company and PMHST)
• Manage insurance denials through the workflow queue and denial management processes
• Conduct follow-up on unprocessed insurance claims
• Prepare and submit appeals for services that were not processed correctly
• Review aging reports with leadership to determine next steps for unresolved claims
• Communicate payer updates to leadership and team members
• Maintain working knowledge of CPT and ICD-10 coding guidelines

Skills

• High School Diploma or GED required
• Prior experience in health insurance billing is essential
• Adhere to company policies, procedures, and ethical standards
