Marketing & Sales Associate

The Marketing & Sales Associate will support the Sales & Marketing team by managing administrative functions and aiding in the development of marketing materials to meet the company's objectives.
Responsibilities

- Adheres to corporate, regulatory and individual responsibilities supporting the Company’s quality management programs, supporting policies, procedures, work instructions, and relevant software

- Is responsible for all administrative functions required for the overall smooth operation of the Marketing and Sales team within the IV Drugs department
- Is responsible for the administrative management of sponsorships/honorariums/educational support requests and remittances
- Tracks and catalogs all marketing expenditures (including promotional materials, sponsorships, conference/trade shows, etc.) to ensure they stay within allotted budgets
- Facilitates internal and external coordination of conferences, conventions and Continuing Health Education events all while working within the constraints of a predetermined budget with minimal or no supervision
- Works in conjunction with Marketing and Sales teams and creative agency to initiate, oversee and produce promotional and advertising material for conventions, sales meetings and conferences
- Prepares the required support materials (e.g. binders, reservations, announcements, teasers etc.) for conventions and conferences within the required deadlines
- Is responsible for maintaining and updating product information on the website
- Manages product samples for Marketing which includes organizing, cataloging and distribution to sales representatives
- Is responsible for communicating monthly website updates
- Assists with special marketing projects as required (e.g. residency program, special feature articles, etc.)
- Internally there is interaction with staff and management of all local and regional internal departments including but not limited to: Finance, Human Resources, Supply Chain Management, Customer Service, Sales, Marketing and Scientific Affairs as applicable
- Externally there is interaction with doctors, pharmacists, executives, Marketing and Sales personnel and vendors
- Acts as the backup to the Social Media Manager for daily monitoring and associated vigilance activities when required
- Maintains up-to-date training designated for this position and training documents for reporting positions via internal training platforms
- Ensures timely communication of complaints to the Quality department and Adverse Drug Reactions to the Vigilance department as per Standard Operating Procedures
- Position requires travel within Canada up to 5%
- Rarely, may require working on the odd weekend
Skills
- Word, Excel and PowerPoint experience required
- Mathematical aptitude is required
- University Degree (business and/or marketing preferred)
- Design experience (Canva / Adobe Indesign) is a strong asset
- One to three years of related experience in Marketing in the pharmaceutical industry is an asset
- Bilingualism is an asset
- PowerBI experience is an asset
- Outstanding organization skills – you live and breath it. If something is disorganized you feel a need to organize it
- Excellent communication (written and verbal)
- Professionalism and good grammar required
- Excellent customer service skills and the ability to collaborate with all levels both inside and outside the organization
- Strong computer skills in Microsoft ® Office. Proficient in word processing, charting and Excel spreadsheets
- Self-motivated and able to work with minimal supervision
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to multitask and handle fluctuating workloads
- Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills
- Must be able to perform duties requiring considerable judgement, high level of organization and initiative under limited supervision and tight deadlines

- Proven ability to adhere to standards and procedures and maintain confidentiality

- Must possess ability to multi-task and prioritize workload of the Marketing and Sales team within the IV Drugs department
