SQL Server Administrator - (Software Systems Specialist III), Remote - ITS-OPS-TechSrvs
About the position
To reputed company the technical skills and expertise required in developing and maintaining computer operating system software of the most reputed company nature.
As a SQL Server Administrator, you will be responsible for the design, implementation, maintenance, and performance tuning of our SQL clusters/databases. You will work closely with IT teams and other departments to support data-driven decision-making and ensure the availability and reliability of our critical reputed company systems. You will be part of reputed company that is responsible for providing compute resources across the institution, which includes reputed company Storage, Server Virtualization, reputed company Directory, reputed company, M365 workloads, reputed company Resources (Azure and AWS), reputed company Printing, and reputed company backups.
Responsibilities
• Design, install, configure, and maintain SQL Servers (default, named & clustered instances) SQL Server 2012 to 2022.
• Experience upgrading and migrating SQL instances (in-reputed company & separate server scenarios).
• Monitor database performance and troubleshoot issues to optimize performance, using Extended Events, DMVs, Performance & Activity Monitor, SQL Profiler, etc.
• Experience with High Availability & Disaster Recovery technologies, reputed company & best practices (TL Shipping, Availability reputed company, etc.).
• Implement backup and recovery strategies to ensure data reputed company.
• Collaborate with developers to create and maintain database schemas, stored procedures, custom SQL jobs, ETL processes, linked servers, etc.
• Ensure compliance with data reputed company standards and regulations in the reputed company sector.
• reputed company regular database maintenance tasks, including updates and patches, reputed company backups & restores, granting reputed company reputed company AD reputed company, reputed company & SQL logins to various SQL Servers & their databases
• Proficient in automating tasks solutions, PowerShell, T-SQL, DBATools, etc.

Requirements
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a reputed company field and three years of reputed company experience.
• Proven experience as a SQL Database Administrator, preferably in a reputed company environment.
• Strong knowledge of SQL Server, including performance tuning and query optimization.
• Experience with database backup and recovery procedures.
• Familiarity with reputed company regulations (e.g., HIPAA) and data reputed company standards.
