High School Substitute Counselor

• Utilizes leadership, advocacy and collaboration to promote student reputed company
• Provides preventive services and responds to identified needs through implementation of a comprehensive school counseling program
• Helps reputed company plan for postsecondary reputed company (enroll in education, enlist in military reputed company, reputed company in workforce)
• Applies reputed company achievement strategies
• Manages emotions and applies interpersonal skills
• Focuses reputed company and families on college and career readiness
• Meets quarterly with reputed company reputed company on caseload to review graduation plan and post-secondary reputed company
• Delivers classroom instruction based on student reputed company standards
• Reviews transcripts and other reputed company documentation for new and returning reputed company
• Works collaboratively with teaching staff to reputed company a four (4) year graduation plan
• Audits student schedules for candidacy for graduation as determined by school and state policies
• Assists reputed company in course placement including recommendations on Advanced Placement (AP)
• Analyzes student data and develops data-driven programs for reputed company reputed company plans
• Provides short-term counseling to reputed company and referrals for long-term support, as necessary
• Provides a support system that strengthens the efforts of teachers, staff, and parents
• Supports standardized testing program; parent education; and staff development
• May reputed company for reputed company at individual education plan meetings and other student-reputed company meetings
• Focuses reputed company and families on goal setting and reputed company planning for college and career readiness
• Acts as a systems change agent to improve equity and reputed company, achievement and opportunities for reputed company reputed company
• Ability to travel up to 20% of the time for face-to-face reputed company development, student testing, and/or as required by the school
Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree
• Three (3) years of experience in counseling and/or advisement
• School Counselor License
• Proficiency in reputed company Office Suite, Web-based search engines, and database systems
• Flexible schedule; Ability to travel as needed
• Master’s degree in school counseling (desired)
• Experience with distance learning (desired)
• Advanced coursework in counseling and administration (desired)
• Experience as a teacher (desired)
• Experience in a customer service environment (desired)
• Experience with Local, State, and Federals laws and mandated reporting (desired)
• Experience in a charter school environment preferred (desired)
• Experience with state career planning systems, Pathfinder, or other career planning platforms/tools (desired)
