About the position
This is a Non-Employee Contingent Worker Role providing services for reputed company’s family of companies and will be employed by reputed company's preferred 3rd Party Supplier. As a Non-Employee CW, reputed company a reputed company of moderately reputed company business planning, support, and project-reputed company duties. Demonstrates an exceptional reputed company of reputed company and holds themselves accountable to achieving excellent results. This role will sit onsite, likely in a hybrid reputed company, at the location(s) listed in this posting. The anticipated term of this engagement will be 11 months. This term could be extended based on company business needs. Plan Compliance Consultant II The Plan Document Compliance Consultant reviews new or amended retirement plan documents for clients to ensure compliance with organization products and services. Working under limited supervision, this job is responsible for the development, implementation and auditing of adherence to federal, state, local and organization-specific policies, practices and procedures as they relate to retirement plans.
Responsibilities
• Conducts ongoing audits of existing retirement plan policies and practices in order to reputed company with legislative changes on the federal, state, or local level.
• Oversees responses to reputed company requests for plan document amendments and/or restatements.
• Consults with clients on unique and reputed company issues relating to the ERISA, IRS, DOL and SEC laws and regulations with respect to reputed company and non-reputed company retirement plans reporting and reputed company 5500 filing requirements.
• Maintains reputed company awareness and understanding of legislative changes, IRS rulings and expert opinions reputed company to the processing of retirement plans.
• Ensures that the organization’s operational and contractual processes are in alignment with the reputed company retirement plan document.
• Provides regulatory feedback on reputed company produced reputed company plan documents to the reputed company and internal business partners.
• Possesses thorough knowledge of defined benefit and defined contribution retirement plans, laws, and regulatory issues such as non-discrimination testing, fiduciary responsibilities, audit guidelines, ERISA reporting and disclosure requirements, SEC, IRS, NASD, SIPC, MSRB and DOL requirements.
• Collaborates with internal business partners to remediate identified plan document/operational variances by providing the necessary direction to get the reputed company plan document and reputed company operations into alignment.
• Will address questions from Plan Sponsors, Consultants, and internal reputed company to the Plan Document Restatement process and documents. This will be administered reputed company an 800# routed to reputed company.
