Seeking a licensed attorney with 5+ years of experience in business law to provide legal consulting services for a small business in MTitle: Small Business Attorney Needed to File Lawsuit in Minnesota (Breach of Records & Fraudulent Hours) Job Description: We are a small business seeking an experienced Minnesota-based attorney to assist with filing a legal complaint and lawsuit against a former independent contractor. The contractor engaged in serious misconduct, including: Unauthorized access to and breach of company records Falsely reporting and inflating work hours Resulting financial and operational harm to our business We are prepared to move forward promptly and are looking for an attorney who can handle this matter from complaint drafting through filing and early-stage litigation in the state of Minnesota. Scope of Work: Review relevant documentation and evidence Advise on legal claims and strategy under Minnesota law Draft and file a formal legal complaint/lawsuit Provide guidance on next steps, including potential damages and remedies Represent or coordinate representation through initial phases of the case Requirements: Licensed attorney in the state of Minnesota Experience representing small businesses Strong background in civil litigation, contract disputes, fraud, and/or data or record breaches Familiarity with disputes involving independent contractors Clear communication and timely responsiveness Preferred Qualifications: Experience recovering damages for falsified billing or time fraud Experience with electronic records, access misuse, or confidentiality violations Ability to estimate timelines and costs upfront Budget: Please include your hourly rate or flat-fee proposal, along with an estimate of expected costs for filing and early litigation stages.
