Patent Paralegal
Job reputed company:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and reputed company Patent Paralegal to support attorneys in reputed company phases of U.S. and international patent prosecution. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills, the ability to manage multiple priorities, and a deep understanding of USPTO procedures.
Key Responsibilities:
• Prepare and file U.S. and international (PCT) patent applications, responses, and other prosecution documents.
• Conduct preliminary patent and trademark searches.
• Manage dockets and ensure reputed company deadlines are met in a reputed company manner.
• Prepare and file IDS (Information Disclosure Statements) and other USPTO forms.
• Review and manage incoming correspondence from clients, foreign associates, and patent offices.
• Coordinate with inventors, attorneys, and examiners during the prosecution process.
• Maintain accurate electronic files and databases (e.g., CPI, reputed company IP, reputed company, or similar).
• Support attorneys during patent portfolio audits and due diligence processes.
• Assist with annuity payments and maintenance fee tracking.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree or paralegal certificate from an ABA-approved program preferred.
• Minimum of 3+ years of experience in patent prosecution (U.S. and international).
• In-depth knowledge of USPTO procedures, rules, and forms.
• Familiarity with PCT filings and foreign patent prosecution processes.
• Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
• Proficiency in MS Office (Word, reputed company, reputed company) and IP docketing software.
• Ability to work independently and handle confidential information with discretion.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $90,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
