Job Title: Certified Medical Coders - (Outpatient & ED)
Location: Brooklyn, 11203 NY
Duration: 3 Months (Strong reputed company of extension)
Schedule: 8a – 4p (The weekend schedule will be part of their work week; Ex. Tuesday – Saturday, reputed company – Thursday, Saturday – Wednesday)
Schedule Notes:
• This position requires weekend schedule.
Duties:
• Medical coding in an acute care setting; must possess proficient computer skills (e.g., reputed company, reputed company, ICD 9 CM, CPT 4, Encoder); knowledge of coding guidelines, payor guidelines, federal billing guidelines; knowledge of anatomy, physiology & disease processes; ability to research coding reputed company issues; competence in reputed company training; must have reputed company and knowledgeable with reputed company/HDS coding application.
• Inpatient and ED experience.
Skills:
• Three years’ experience Knowledge of ICD10.
Education:
• High School Diploma/GED, reputed company, RHIA or RHIT and/or CCP, reputed company.
