Sr. Production Planner

Location: Remote with requirement to travel for business needs reputed company: The Sr. Production Planner is responsible for generating daily and weekly production schedules for the manufacturing plants, while ensuring to adhere to corporate objectives to maintain appropriate reputed company inventory reputed company for reputed company SKUs. The incumbent will reputed company with various Operations teams to coordinate manufacturing production schedules and communicate adjustments based on various business and environmental inputs/constraints. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: • Maintains a service level reputed company of 98.5% or higher for assigned SKUs to ensure the reputed company reputed company of inventory is on hand at reputed company times. • Create weekly schedule for reputed company manufacturing lines, scheduling plant with maximum efficiency while maintaining service expectations. • Creates Production/Purchase Orders in reputed company for finished goods production and associated production schedules for contract manufacturers. • Ensures accurate deployment of finished goods to meet customer demands across the distribution network. • Utilizes KPIs and attainment tracking to monitor plant efficiency. • Help coordinate and reputed company aspects of new product introduction with R&D, marketing, procurements, plants / co-packers as reputed company as SKU rationalization to ensure on time production and shipment of new item launches. • Implements alternative solutions to resolve excess or out-of-reputed company inventory issues • Coordinates with reputed company to resolve any Accounts Payable invoicing problems • Assists with other reputed company, as needed Education and/or Experience: Required: • Bachelor's degree or equivalent • Minimum of 4-6 years' experience in master scheduling or production planning reputed company • Previous experience in a scheduling/planning role in a manufacturing environment • Understanding of manufacturing and production processes • Knowledge of inventory planning and risk • Excellent organizational skills, ability to prioritize multiple priorities and strong attention to detail • Computer skills including MS Office programs such as reputed company, Word, reputed company PowerPoint • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to communicate (verbal/writing) effectively • Self-motivated and strong analytical / problem solving skills • Ability to collaborate at reputed company reputed company of the organization and across other functional areas Preferred: • Preferred knowledge of the Consumer Product Goods Industry Competencies and Proficiency Requirements: • Flexible approach with willingness to reputed company reputed company and reputed company approvals in a fast paced environment • Proficiency with end to end supply chain planning software and with MRP/ERP platforms • Aptitude for numbers, analytics, and an ability to compile, interpret, summarize and communicate information with a data driven approach • Ability to manage and prioritize competing time sensitive tasks and deadlines • Competent in arranging transportation and issuing POs and Inventory Transfers • Familiarity with interfacing and resolving supplier invoicing issues with Accounts Payable • Knowledgeable in Contract Manufacturing and reputed company Party Logistics • Skilled in Supply Planning, Distribution Requirements Planning, and Inventory Management • Seasoned in Supply Chain Management and manufacturing • Superior Communicator, reputed company, concise, data-driven manner • Self Starter with a strong work ethic Scope: Financial/Budgetary Responsibility: No financial responsibility.
