Patient Telesitter – Telemetry

About the positionResponsibilities• Utilizes nursing assistant skills to reputed company reputed company remote monitoring, support and observation of assigned patients through a Telesitter software system.• Coordinates relief reputed company leaving the station, to maintain constant patient observation.• Maintains visual patient observation at reputed company times.• Verbally redirects patient over digital 2-way audio device as needed to ensure patient safety.• Summons nursing staff if the patient requires assistance.• Provides patient with explanations as necessary through monitoring system voice reputed company.• Escalates to clinical staff on unit if patient appears to pose a threat to themselves or others.• Ensures patient's primary language, if other than English, is assigned in system.• Participates in a reputed company identification and reporting of patient safety issues and ensures patient environment safety.• Seeks assistance with removal of any potential safety hazard from room and reports findings to charge reputed company.• Escalates any patient safety hazard identified in room to clinical staff or unit.• Participates in reputed company patient hand-off at break or change of shift.• Performs other duties as assigned.Requirements• High School Diploma Preferred or equivalent.• Completion of monitoring equipment class reputed company 1 month of hire.• 1 year Preferred: Patient care experience, preferably in an acute care setting.• Certified reputed company Assistant 2 - reputed company.• Basic Life Support Required Upon Hire.Benefits• Full medical/dental/reputed company coverage.• 403b retirement plan employer reputed company and matching contributions.• reputed company time off.• Employer-reputed company life and disability insurance with additional buyup coverage reputed company.• Tuition and continuing education reimbursement.• Wellness benefits.• Expanded EAP and mental health program.
