Content Creator / Social Media Specialist

They are seeking a creative Content Creator / Social Media Specialist to capture moments and showcase them across social platforms, focusing on content creation and social media engagement.
Responsibilities
- Capture high-quality in-store photo and video content featuring jewelry, displays, staff, and customer experiences
- Film and edit short-form video content (Instagram Reels, TikTok, Stories) directly from store locations
- Coordinate with store managers and associates to plan and capture content
- Create content around product launches, promotions, holidays, and special events
- Write polished, on-brand captions aligned with the Michaels Jewelers voice
- Maintain consistent brand aesthetics, lighting, and styling standards
- Engage with social media comments and messages as needed
- Stay current with social trends and adapt them for a luxury retail environment
- Assist with basic content scheduling and performance tracking
Skills
- Experience in content creation or social media
- Comfortable filming and photographing in-store and working with staff on camera
- Strong eye for visual detail, styling, and storytelling
- Proficiency with content creation tools (Canva, CapCut, Adobe, etc.)
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently while coordinating with store teams
- Photography or videography background
- On-camera confidence or experience directing others on camera
- Understanding of Instagram and TikTok analytics
