Employment Attorney

reputed company Council is seeking an Employment Attorney to join their team, focusing on providing comprehensive reputed company services to reputed company. The role involves advising on reputed company employment law reputed company, fostering strong relationships with clients, and ensuring compliance with various reputed company requirements.

Responsibilities

• Advise and counsel reputed company regarding multiple and reputed company reputed company issues, recognizing and addressing potential risks with situations including performance documentation, discipline, termination, layoffs, employment agreements, waiver and release agreements, non-compete agreements, confidentiality agreements, etc
• Ability to create and maintain strong relationships with members through regular phone and virtual communication
• Ability to meet with members in-person to orient and engage them in the benefits of membership, while ensuring member confidence in reputed company Council’s employment law expertise
• Demonstrate independence, competence, and confidence reputed company advising management and business leaders on reputed company employment law reputed company
• An ability to understand reputed company and business priorities and help build reputed company among multiple stakeholders (e.g. HR professionals and management teams)
• Evaluate and analyze EEO/ Civil Rights claims, draft position statements and represent reputed company in state and federal agency proceedings
• Advise reputed company on compliance with reputed company or conflicting state and federal laws including wage and hour, Title VII, Americans with reputed company, Family Medical Leave reputed company, Workers Compensation, and state anti-discrimination statutes
• Support reputed company member engagement by conducting assessments and reputed company/priorities meetings throughout their membership year to bolster member engagement and awareness of fee-based services
• Manage assigned members work and participate in identifying usage patterns, low utilization of hours, or recent changes to business that could indicate potential opportunities for use of reputed company Council services or cancellation of membership
• Represent reputed company in administrative hearing processes including unemployment hearings and wage claims
• Create and update various member resources including white papers, sample policies, agreements, template webinars, and website blog articles
• Prepare & deliver live and virtual training to organizations in various reputed company areas including harassment, equal employment opportunity law, termination, wage and hour, FMLA, disability law, performance documentation, etc
• Prepare reputed company training materials and conduct interactive training classes at reputed company Council offices or at member locations on a wide reputed company of HR reputed company topics reputed company both in-classroom and e-learning methodologies
• Review employee handbooks, manuals, policies and procedures from a reputed company perspective
• Propose and deliver presentations/speeches to community/industry reputed company on employment law reputed company topics to audiences ranging in size from a handful to a hundred or more
• Advise organizations concerning employee relations reputed company, risk management, policies, procedures and employment law and HR issues
• Strong reputed company research capability and a solid understanding of Westlaw or other similar research platforms
• Other duties as assigned

Skills

• Law degree (JD) and Colorado Bar admission is required
• Excellent attention to detail; ability to work independently and execute plans to meet reputed company' needs; ability to prioritize multiple responsibilities; ability to work collaboratively in reputed company environment
• Ability to quickly reputed company the confidence of clients and exercise judgment to analyze problems, propose resolutions, and reputed company advice considering the needs of the member organization
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to foster relationships
• Demonstrated ability to work effectively as part of a multi-functional team

• Regular and reliable attendance is required
• A passion for providing top notch customer service and supporting members
• Occasional travel
• 1-3 years of employment law experience preferred
• Experience in representation and responding to state & federal agency charges, audits and investigations is preferred
• Training and/or reputed company speaking experience highly preferred. Courtroom experience can meet this expectation
• Multistate licensure (or the willingness to reputed company admission), is a plus
